Located near Rice University, The Village as its known to most Houstonians is one of the city’s oldest and most prized shopping districts. Chinatown - Or more accurately: Asiantown. The epicenter is Beltway 8 and S. Bellaire - follow Bellaire on either side of the Beltway. It's strip mall city, but it's all Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai businesses. This is where you'll find real bubble tea and great Dim Sum, plus some large asian supermarkets. |

Memorial Area - A suburban area/multi-neighborhood that straddles the outer loop/Sam Houston toll road, due west of downtown Houston. Tons of restaurants and shopping, Memorial Drive runs from Downtown thru the inner loop/Galleria area all the way out to Highway 6. |
